1- OUR STORY
Bongou S.A.R.L is one of the top companies in Lebanon that specializes in providing customers with high-quality, fresh, and delicious food products. The story of Bongou S.A.R.L begins with Chef Fadi, who had a passion for cooking and a desire to share his culinary creations with others. In his own home kitchen, Chef Fadi began the implementation of 22 years of experience within the frozen chicken, and cheese items, perfecting his recipes until they were both delicious and convenient.
Chef Fadi’s processed frozen food items gained popularity. He decided to take the next step and invest in a shop in order to satisfy his clients’ demands. With hard work and dedication, His shop quickly became a success, attracting customers from all over Lebanon who were looking for high-quality, fresh, and tasty food products. It is then, in 2015, when Bongou S.A.R.L started competing in the Lebanese market among older companies.
In 2019, Mounir joined Chef Fadi as a co-owner, and managing Partner. Mounir is a young hotelier who has worked in Lebanon and different countries of the Middle East for almost 18 years. He gained the necessary experience needed so together they worked on elevating the production, quality, and sales figure. They opened a bigger company in Hboub Jbeil, which allowed them to increase the variety of products they offered, while still maintaining their commitment to freshness and quality. Together they had a vision. Their vision was to position Bongou S.A.R.L as one of the most reputable company in Lebanon and the MENA region.
In 2022, Bongou SARL received the ISO22000:2018 certification.
Despite the challenges of running a business, Chef Fadi and Mounir remained dedicated to their vision of providing customers with the best possible food products. They continued to experiment with new recipes and ingredients, always striving to create something truly special and unique.
Within 4 years, despite the harsh economic and political situation, Bongou kept its promises for its beloved clients towards delivering the highest quality food items with the best competitive prices. A Promise will be working hard to maintain.
2- Our Team
Mounir Abou Haidar
Mounir is a BS graduate in Hospitality Management with 20 years of experience in different restaurants and hotels. His experience in working with the best Restaurant chains and Hotels in Lebanon and different Arab countries gave him a wide perspective for running his own business. Mounir Joined Fadi in 2019 as a managing partner. Together they set the strategy for Bongou expansion. Being assertive and picky, Mounir makes sure the plans are strictly implemented and the company systems are applied without hesitation and errors.
Fadi Khalaf
Dedicated to his lifetime passion, Fadi has more than 20 years of experience as a Kitchen Chef and as a platter creation consultant. He worked in Lebanon and different Arab countries. Â He pursued his dream and became the owner of his first project, Bongou, in 2015. With lot of perseverance he was able to succeed among older companies and manage to position Bongou among the best in its category.
Andre Sayah
Andre joined our team in 2023. Andre has a BS in Human resources Management and has worked in big companies. Andre is currently handling the logistics department for what it needs a high attention. In addition he is working on creating a full HR system to be followed.
Lili el Hajj Assaf
Lili is our Hygiene and Food safety Team leader. Lili has a BS in Nutrition and Food safety Management. She is studying also food science which will contribute in elevating Bongou in different related fields. Lili has been a member in Bongou since 2021.

Elie Abi Ramia
Elie joined Bongou in 2020. He has a Chef graduate degree. He started at Bongou as a normal kitchen crew. By time, he showed dedication and hard work which helped him getting regular promotion. Now Elie is Bongou kitchen team leader. He is leading a team of 20 employees to delivering perfect results.
Elise El Rahi
Elise joined the team in 2023. She implemented what the market taught her in terms of communication and negotiations skills to contribute in increasing Bongou market share and establishing a good business relationship with our clients.
3- Logistics

Our logistics process at Bongou involves a complex interplay of various elements, all aimed at preserving product quality, meeting regulatory requirements, and optimizing supply chain operations.
1. Cold Chain Management: From the moment raw materials arrive at the factory to the point of distribution, temperature control is critical. Specialized refrigerated storage & transportation facilities are employed to prevent any temperature fluctuations that could compromise the quality and safety of our frozen products.
2. Inventory Control: With perishable goods, it's essential to have precise control over stock levels to minimize waste and ensure that products are dispatched before reaching their expiration dates.

3. Production Scheduling:Planning production runs based on demand forecasts, market trends, and seasonal variations helps optimize resources and minimize production downtime.
4. Quality Control: From inspecting incoming raw materials to monitoring production processes and conducting regular checks during storage, quality assurance is a constant focus.
6. Distribution and Transportation: Our Refrigerated trucks or containers equipped with advanced temperature control systems are used to transport products from the factory to distribution centers or directly to retailers.
